Hi Peter. My pleasure to help a fellow zed owner out. Fingers crossed that the airbag light stays out.
The engine codes that I read were as follows:
202 Lambdaregelgrenze Bank1 - Lambda Control Limit Bank 1
203 Lambdaregelgrenze Bank2 - Lambda Control Limit Bank 2
227 Lambsareglerabweichung Bank 1 - Lambda Control Deviation Bank 1
228 Lambsareglerabweichung Bank 2 - Lambda Control Deviation Bank 2
242 Verbrennungsaussetzer Zylinder 5 - Misfire Cylinder 5
240 Verbrennungsaussetzer Zylinder 3 - Misfire Cylinder 3
243 Verbrennungsaussetzer Zylinder 6 - Misfire Cylinder 6
239 Verbrennungsaussetzer Zylinder 2 - Misfire Cylinder 2
241 Verbrennungsaussetzer Zylinder 4 - Misfire Cylinder 4
The misfire codes could be a camshaft sensor that giving erroneous output - the car didn't sound like it had any hint of a misfire, so I would not worry about these unduly.
The lambda errors may indicate a problem with the lambda probes, or possibly a problem with the MAF. I think the car just needs a good run, but if there is a genuine problem, then it may still fail its MOT on emissions. Hopefully it will be fine and sail through, as I know you're itching to drive it!
Cheers R.
