Similar price to what an Audi Main dealer charges to fit a clutch to a 2.0 litre, non-quattro. So if this was from a independent garage and given that a rear wheel drive car like a z3 is a fairly simple job for a professional, it does seem a bit high.

Does that price include a new flywheel?
As when I asked I was given a price with a new flywheel as they sometimes need replacing or that was what I was told?

After 180K kms I replaced the clutch on my 2.8 and the fly wheel was still 100%. The clutch replacement cost me £265 incl parts and labour...

Just paid just under 500 for a new clutch and flywheel on the ///M - your quote seems steep
