Gear box and dif oil

Could you help me in choosing oil for gear box and dif (Z3 3.0 2001). Do you know how much I need to have? Thanks in advance.

Diff - 1.7 litres SAF-XJ (for Limited slip diff)
G/Box 1.3 litres MTF LT-1 (Manual box)

I changed the gear box and diff oil on my 1.9 last week, Fuchs Titan Sintofluid 75W-80 MTF and Castrol Syntrax Long Life 70W-90 Multi Vehicle respectively and judging by the amount of oil left in the seconding containers they both took about 1.1 litres. I was careful to keep filling until it came spilling out but I expected them to take more.
When I opened the diff filler plug, before draining the oil, it took me by surprise as the oil came gushing out. I can only imagine someone had overfilled it by having the car jacked up at the rear.
