Zipped Rear Window

Have been looking at the zipped rear window but can't find the thing
you pull to unzip it. Is the zip purely to replace the window if damaged & not
to be used on a daily basis in the sunny weather?
How is it unzipped?

The zips purely to replace the window

Once the window is fitted the pull thingy for the zip comes off and 2 staples are put over the zip to stop it coming undone.

The window doesn't unzip like the Mk1 mx5 window.
