new radio aerial

I plan to fit a dab radio in my zed but it will need a new aerial I plan to use the old aerial hole but has any one pulled a new aerial lead through the car to the dash? Or has any one used a windscreen type aerial

Not done an aerial lead, but have run audio cables from the dash to the boot. I went down the middle of the car, under the centre console, and then off to the side under the oddments box and through the large grommet into the boot. Nothing overly difficult, just a bit time consuming for such a small car!

I have the windscreen type ariel, it works fine. :)

I fitted a windscreen one where the road tax used to be and has been pretty good so far....Can't beat absolute 80's with the roof down lol

Did you have to scrape any paint off for the earth tab?the one I've got from halfords (auto leads dab AA1)says fix to metal area next to screen
