How many V6 2.8s were made. I think this must be a rare car

2.8 V6
Re: 2.8 V6
the V8 sound is from his mp3 player
Z3 2.8 Progress Journal (Mine)
Z3 1.9 Sport Progress Journal (Wifey's)
I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Re: 2.8 V6
The answer is NONE!
Some people do not seem to have a clue about their own cars, but one would think that this kind of basic thing would be obvious to the owner on lifting the bonnet - but perhaps this was never done!
I suppose that there are a lot of V6-engined cars around these days, so it is assumed that any six-cylinder engine is a V6 . . . .

A Z3 is not just for Christmas - it's for life!

This advert rings a bell, I'm sure it's been advertised before. I'm surprised it's not an M. There's quite often a 1.9 M on eBay

Re: 2.8 V6
I may have been a comment from me, about 8 months ago I met a fellow z owner at the petrol station (where else would it have been ) he was new to the area and was selling his Fuji green 2.8 v6, I didn't bother correcting him, guess he never lifted the bonnet, I did post it on here though hence perhaps the vague recollection your having
seen loads of 1.9 m, there quite common

Worryingly Mike there is a photo with the bonnet open and the engine looks pretty straight to me.
This suggests that the owner cannot tell the difference even when looking at the engine!
