Airbox

Post by Rafolian »

Hi everybody, does anyone know if the standard airbox assembly for the 2.8 is different in the earlier single vanos and the later twin vanos versions?

I know they filter the air young Baz, but have seen two totally different ones on fleabay for the 2.8 and wondered if the they were different on the single and twin vanos?
Mine is the pre sept '98 (august) single vanos and had a carbon induction kit fitted when I bought it, so no idea what the original one looked like.

Best person to ask would be Andy - Spurs fan... He will know all this stuff without blinking, and may even have one for your car... :D

Thanks Barry, I wish I was as knowledgeable as you make out!

I have 2 airboxes.

One I'm sure is a 2.0 facelift

The other I'm not sure, but think it is a 1.9.

Amazed by the lack of part numbers on these items!
