Going to have to replace the rear screen over the winter, so started looking arround and found this on ebay 391307448984
The guy makes them himself from, supposedly, superior plastic.
Anybody tried one or have any recommendations ??
Thanks Gordon

the rubber outer trim looks alot thicker than oem, most cheap replacement windows have plastic trim which will crease when the roof is lowered leading to it leaking, this one however looks like it has solved that issue.

Hi Gordon,
I was just wondering if you bought one of those screens, need a replacement for mine.

Hi Tim,
Sorry, haven't done this yet, still looking - there hasn't been many opinions posted either way.
I am also looking at these
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z3-ORIGIN ... 2zz5FErCIw#
From cabriowebshop. So say original BMW screen but double the price, are they really twice as good ???
Maybe someone's fitted one and can comment.
Regards Gordon

the oem rear window is the best option, there are plenty of threads (old) on here, you do have to search though to find them, they always end in - buy the oem, but then if your going to spend £150 on a rear screen just pay another £100 and get a new roof too (fitted) the only downside here is the windows are stitched in so if it gets damaged its another new roof. for a quicker response - post the same question on roadster.org
