Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder - circa 1962

Post by BonBon »

Saw this on Sunday in Mayfair. Registration M250. Pretty cool.
It had only 116 miles on the clock.
As the real thing is worth over $11Million - I assume it is a replica was made by http://www.calspyderii.com

Yes the replica older Ferraris are pretty good, l've seen them at car shows.

One kit has a spaceframe chassis and Jaguar V12. It's the (generally MR2 based) replica 360's and 355's that are awful.

Here's a couple of other old ones - I'm no Ferrari expert so would be happy to know what models they are :D

In that location it was probably a real one.
I once owned a house there.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

BTW - a complete top notch replica from the link provided above would come to $98,750 if you're intersted.
They no longer supply kits.
(Less than 100 of the real thing were manufactured - hence the price in excess of $11M.
