Post by peter2b »

any one know the part number of the rubber trim piece that the drivers door window closes up to, mine gone a bit hard on one section about 4 inches long right by my right ear giving me a bit of a draft and wind noise

If you think the rubbers just gone a bit hard try some Gummi Pflege .. it worked for me, even stopped a leak!

A lot of zed owners swear by it, it's part of my regular maintenance routine to keep the rubber supple.

Can you still buy the two little rubber bump stops? One of mine was missing so I had to improvise with a piece of high density foam packaging.

should be able to get it from BMW - I have retro fitted most of the trim parts on both my hard tops including the fitting kit hiding trims all brand new from BMw for a lot less than you think
