Are doors interchangeable?

Post by sil53 »

Had a slight bump in the Z the other day and am needing a new door.
I've been searching around to try and find the answer but haven't found the answer to my question.

Are the doors on the Z3 interchangeable between wide/narrow body and pre/post facelift?

I've found a door in the right colour for sale, but its from a post facelift wide body, and I have a prefacelift narrow body. I believe its only the rear quarters, boot, bumper and axle thats different but was hoping to have some confirmation before I commit to buying

Cheers in advance for any help

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Ha, was thinking of doing Rolls doors and opening from the front.

Cheers though. Door is looking cheaper than repairs
