Rocker cover cleaning.

As i'm old school i used to always remove rocker cover when i changed the oil
to give it a good clean. As my car has always been garage serviced by previous
owners & its 14 years old i bet the cover has never been off. Is it
a difficult/pain in the ass job to do as its looking a bit grotty looking through
the oil filler cap hole.
Never been a fan of engine flushing, not sure why but there you go.

Best get a new gasket ready if its never been off before, just did a price check between Europarts and Carparts4less on the web and Carparts4less are cheaper for the same part, Euro at £28.99 and 4less at £24.60. Always find 4less are cheaper even though they are the same firm behind the trading names.

depending on your engine type it will be very similar if not identical to the process discussed on page 7 here:
