is this the tool i need for removal of oil filter on a 1998 m44 1.9 engine ?


76mm 14 flutes ?

or 74mm 14 flutes...

That looks like the correct one - i.e. 14 little flats on the inside. Mine is a make called Wolf's Head model WH903 and it has the 14 flats.

I happened to pick one up in the 50% off bin in Halfords yesterday for £3.50. Brand Laser.

2002 Z3 2.2 Titan Silver (Cookies) - Keeper rebuilt having been bought with a seized engine
2002 Z3 3.0 Sapphire Black (Peanut) - Keeper awaiting rebuilding having been bought as an abandoned project
Plus Willy, Kodak & Maycee - All 2.2 Sport projects. Yes, 6 is a lot of Z3s :)
Always happy to try and help with spares :)

Bought mine from Halfords a few years back it's stamped 76/14 and fits perfectly.
