Z3 to Ferrari 250 swb
Re: Z3 to Ferrari 250 swb
Thanks for sharing - I enjoyed the build thread.
When one first sees these raw, fibreglass bodies placed on what was a tidy car, one's initial thought is "oh no" but as the parts get sprayed and the secondary parts fitted, the conversion comes to life. As a classic Ferrari replica I prefer yours to some of the more anonymous/generic kits I have seem for the Z3 and I'm no expert but I would guess that it is now worth more than the original Z3 format.

Thanks Del,
Yep it certainly took a while to get it looking ok, I managed to learn how to add photos so here are some at various stages:
I wonder if I would be welcome at a Z3 meet??

Nice touch with the illumination of the boot lid racing number, of course you would be welcome, after all we all know what is really underneath!!

Very impressive car and write up, amazing work and attention to detail. Do you have a problem with the lack of airbag at MOT time?
Re: Z3 to Ferrari 250 swb
Hi Zeebedee,
Nope the MOT test checks if the airbag light is on and it isn't due to some inline resistors, however the passenger airbag is present and fully functional, so all is clear.
