Long running hesitation problem cured!!

Post by Devon Z »

So long story short I've had a hesitation/slight misfire at 1500rpm for quite a while now, done all the usual things new plugs, inlet and exhaust cam pos sensers which made a bit of a difference but to no avail so I had learnt to live with it irritating as it was. Well resently I had the opportunity to borrow a Snapon BMW diagnostic kit off a customer of mine who had a garage business, I thought it's got to be better than my code reader(which by the way says there's no codes) Well two historic fault codes recorded for both cam sensors nothing else so cleared all codes and bingo she runs like a dream now! Soo smooth and pulls cleanly with no hesitation.

So the moral is codes need to be cleared properly with proper kit.

Happy bunny for summer now :)
