New roof scotland

Post by Biggbn »

Apologies if this has been asked before, mrs z3 back window and zip are fubar and I have been advised if we are keeping the wee car, a new roof is most cost effective option. I called a big English based company and they suggested a price for mohair roof and rear window of @370 if memory serves but that would require fitting. Is there anywhere in Scotland that can provide a reputable service at a fair price. We have had z3 for about five years and it's getting a bit shabby, but is going to be painted soon. I did wonder about claims for roof on insurance as fully comp and initial damage was vandalism but worry about insurance company writing car off as am not sure how they would value it. Any advice on either subject very much appreciated, Gbn
