Free 3rd party Image Hosting

Post by BonBon »

It was a matter of time that Photobucket started charging for 3rd party hosting. But it's very expensive and naughty to include all historic pictures posted. :bad :bad :bad
Can anyone recommend an alternative free service in order to post pics here?

A job that's been irritating me, and been meaning to sort for ages. Thanks guys, IMGUR does the job nicely, and also doesn't keep opening up other stuff you might have in your gallery like dear old Photobucket did. :thumb:

I wonder when photobucket will threaten to delete the items stored on their site

Did IMGUR stop providing a link that opens automatically in the site (as opposed to a clickable link)?

Go to https://imgur.com/

Sign up on there for an account, its free, once signed in you can add your photos to your albums by uploading the picture to your album.
When they are in your album when you view them in imgur you will see a list of links on the right of the screen. When you want to post a picture to the forum copy the BB link and paste it into the forum post a reply page and add any text before or after the link to explain what the photo is refering to in your post.
Have a practice in the test track thread of the forum.
