what color does your //M gear stick glow?

Mines red, is it supposed to be? its really annoying as the whole dash is orange

I guess it should be the same illuminated colour as the dash lights, mine is, sort of orangey red. Will be taking it off this weekend and replacing with a new chrome M tec gear knob and blue gaitor, I wished it was illuminated but the only one you can get is the all leather type. Only non BMW illuminated shifter I can find the the AC schnitzer but its crazily priced.

iv got a m3 one on at the moment its nice as its shorter but has 6 gears displayed on it, stops thieves stealing it as when they try to get into 6th they think the cars gear box is faulty and return it in disgust, makes sense hey.
