How many miles has your Z3m S54 done?

Post by Jonttt »

There is an advert on Pistonheads currently claiming to be probably the lowest mileage RHD S54 with 47,000 miles - surely this is not the case

So thought I would start a thread to see.

Mine has done 48,000 :drive

RED turned 55k on Spokey's cruise a week ago.

I bought the car in Jan 06 (just under 4 years ago) with 31k on the clock.
The vast majority of my 24k have been long trips including across Europe, Scotland, Isle of Man, etc..... 8-)

71k on mine but used it at as a daily commute until a year ago.
Bought it with 8600 on the clock in Jan 04 - still is the best car I've had and it is now only used for social trips ie holidays, cruises and going out with the Navigator on a sunny day like today etc :D :D

Oh the suspense, is it red, laguna, grey, ........,its like finding you have a long lost brother :D

Nick your profile says Z4m interlagos blue but you did say you had one of the last Z3m's so I assume you have/have had both?

Maybe I should change the thread description anyway

z3m

Post by S54James »

Hi

I need to change my profile as we did own a z4m but had to sell to finance our house renovation costs. After a few C4 corvettes we ten purchased our 1st z3m with the S54 engine .. and I am glad that we did as it is a wonderful drive, very impressed I would say more comfortable then the Z4M as I can compare as I have now owned both.

The Vin is:

WBSCL 92030 LB64133

so second from last made?

regards

113,000 Km (~70,000 miles) on my '01 Phoenix Yellow M Roadster. With the new suspension that I did in September and the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's that I put on this morning I'm loving it even more than when I bought it 3.5 years ago.

Dry weather only car then Steve? Unusual for a coupe, mostly it's the roadsters that get stored away for the winter months.

Boysie

I was not trying to create an S50/S54 "divide"

I only asked the question as there are so few S54's and a good percentage are members on here so just wanted to get a "feel" for the average mileage of this particualr variant especially given they are itghtly grouped in terms of age as well (ie 18 month production run)

It would be intersting to start some sort of poll for all the variants of Z in general perhaps by age of car eg 1997 <10,000 miles, 10 to 20,000 etc.... ?

RussJ has already replied WRT his old car, now mine (thanks again Russ!).

He estimated it had about 34,000 on the clock when he sold it to me in May last year. I think it's was actually about 32,500.

I've just been out to the garage to check... it's now 33,557. Haven't driven it much, but have loved every mile!
