I honestly wouldn't let popped boot welds put me off if the car was good overall and the floor was still intact.
I've just bought a 1999 M with 45k miles, and it's got one blobbed repair on one of the welds. I factored this into my negotiation and will have the floor inspected and 'belt and braces' repaired if necessary.
I'd much rather have a car with a recent strong repair than one that was ok \ original at time of purchase, only to give way later. I intend giving it 'the beans' at the earliest opportunity!

If it was sold it say sold on PH website and stay on there for an eternity.Bieldside wrote:Ad withdrawn

If it was too cheap he would simply amend the price.
I bought the car today, My wife viewed it on my behalf, loads of phone calls but managed to purchase.
She has taken some pictures I will see them when I get home tonight. Will try and upload some.
They have looked at the boot welds from underneath and I am told it is not a problem.
I have worked on the case that the car is cheap to start with.
Regards
Jonathan.

This is one of the pictures my wife took. The car needs a bit of a clean. So once I have polished it I will add some proper photos.
Thanks all for your comments
