The BMW owners club amalgamated with the BMWCC years ago.
Unless some underground movement has set up in the interim.
Sapphire black/Imola red and black interior/ red roof/ S54 - the only RHD one made.

Oh, I see you did state 'car' club, I thought you meant this one......and could not understand why, seeing as you have a Darley-Havidson.

There is a BMW car club and a motorcycle club. They are independant of each other.

The BMW Drivers Club was absorbed into the BMW Car Club (Great Britain) in ~March 2004, following the bereavement of Graham Arnold, who ran the former organisation.

Some of you may remember the excellent Drivers Club Show/Exhibition, held every October in the Donington Exhibition Halls, with lots of bargains to be had-even from the main dealers.

When did you last buy a pair of genuine BMW front discs for £50 and a set of spark plugs for £5 for an E30 M3?

I did-but it was back in 2000!

Hi

Interesting fact

You need to be a member of a car club
to qualify for a classic car insurance policy

.......and with the Car Club there are lots of useful discounts to be had, including 10% on genuine parts at most main dealers, 15% at Euro Car Parts, etc, etc.

If you can get hold of a copy of the excellent "Straight Six" Club magazine, all the discounts and offers are listed at the back, along with regional club fixtures.

Definitely worth joining-and Direct Debit payment offers considerable savings on the annual subscription!

I should imagine it will be the north west, i noticed they meet up at Ashton under lyne which is 6miles from mine but I am actually in Derbyshire which seems to be classed under the north east :puzzle: This is the problem living on borders, or as i like to think of it, living on the edge :)

My pack has arrived and it contains a 'mod' for my car....a bmwcc window sticker.

I am in a dilema, mod or not :?:

If I go with the 'mod' where the hell on the windows shall I put it. If I put it in the wrong place I might upset someone

I paid/ordered on 23/6 and got the pack on 27/6. I think the royal mail have hurried it through just for me because I keep complaining about them or is that just wishful thinking :)

I have put the sticker back in the envelope until I see another on a car so I will know where it needs to go

I went through exactly the same dilemma on Sunday, just before going to Gaydon. I went for the position as in that (totally lovely) Z3 above- directly above the tax disc holder! Though I had to measure it to make it perfectly straight.. I was worried about it getting in the way. It doesn't!
