Didn't you get the memo? Summer was last week, it's autumn again now, time to put the hard top back on!
M out of the garage
Had a few more drives in the car today. It's nice to get back in a manual. Autos were only designed as a work car. The wife even asked me to take her out in it! I have had a few goes in the wife's boxster over the winter, one was a bit of a nightmare as per one of my previous posts, but I have to save the m is ten times better than the boxster, gear change better and a bit moe involving. I forgot how quick it was! I also forgot how much brake dust it produces, note to self must think about yellow/ red stuff pads
Only a four day week ahead so the fun starts again on friday! Then I am holiday. Must spend a bit of time with the wife and kids!?

Looks like you timed it just in time for the return of the Arctic weather. The last 3 weeks have been great!

6 months?? How can you wait so long? With the exception of a few runs, my S50 was off the road for about 3 months - and that seemed like an eternity.G2JRP wrote:Got the tax yesterday and took m out for first drive for six months

Mines out if hibernation and ready for action. Ive fitted paint protection film to the front end so hopefully i'll keep the chips at bay.
I was a bit worried about wether I would still love driving it as my daily drive is an e46 m3. I'm pleased to say that the M Roadster is a very special car and far more entertaining to drive - all its quirks and compromises make it a real delight to sit in and drive. I really love my Z3

I have driven many nice cars and do 50k miles a year but the M is such a fun car to drive.
