Classic insurance

Post by siwilson »

Hi, What reputable companies are people using for 'classic' insurance these days?

A number of companies advertise, but when I enter the ///M they can't quote. not sure why, I have eons of NCB, no claims, no convictions or any other dramas and can't be considered a youngster anymore.

Cheers.

Hi,

I have my ZM insured on a classic policy with RH insurance (01277 206911), very easy to deal with.

cheers,

Notice how its the 3 of us from Scotland that get the good deals. Crap weather and plenty time.

Insured mine with Classic Line Insurance, must be second car, garaged, 3000 miles pa, pleasure use only. Doubt they are any cheaper than RH (who I didn't know about at the time, but will get a quote from them at renewal time). M was only marginally more than a 2.2.

RH Classic.
Premium based on agreed valuation of car and annual mileage, so they're not interested in whatever mods you may have done.
Must be your second car.
Very efficient and very well priced, but thankfully I can't comment on claims handling!
