Hi - after a 16 year gap, have just bought another zm roadster. First one was a P-plater, this one on an 02.
Quick question... what are the tyre of choice? The car is still running its original dunlops!!
thanks

I'm in a similar position but I found Michelin Pilot Sports good.

Re: new roadster
the originals have about 4mm tread, but are dated end 2001.... are the Michelins worth the cost to upgrade? the originals aren't showing much evidence of age, but wet grip seems pretty low!

Was your first one a left hooker? P ended in July 1997. Reason for asking is mine is a P plater and I haven't seen another in the UK.isleofthorns wrote:Hi - after a 16 year gap, have just bought another zm roadster. First one was a P-plater, this one on an 02.

One of the first made. My M was a prelaunch German registered car built in Feb 1997. Wonder if your old car is still around, and in the UK.isleofthorns wrote:Yes, lhd in green with two tone black / grey leather..... on a p-plate

Re: new roadster
I'm guessing it is..... I had it in 97/8 and sold to a friend of mine in London. Think he had it for a couple if years.... being lhd it could well have been exported back.
