I spotted this yesterday, the bonnet gap over the front wing sticks out a mile, could just be a tweaked bonnet though!

The alarm bell for me is the string on the keyring. There could be an innocent explanation, but my first thought is TRADER ALERT.

Also slightly worrying is the shady service history

advert states it was a cat d so that would explain no service history and possibly the badly set bonnet gap he does say he has owned it for 4 years so if he,s a trader he,s had it a while

That could be anything from having the car in for service to leaving it at an airport carpark.

I don't understand why the fact that it is a CAT D means that it has no service history :?

But you know, for a coupe to use every day, piling on the mileage on the commute, I'd have it.

Or £400k for what looks like 50% of a DB5 prototype. :)

because if its bought from a salvage auction direct from the insurers you don't get any paperwork. you even have to apply to dvla for a v5 you could ask bmw for copies of any service history they may have on record

A guy over on the Z3M Coupe forum has picked this up, he did not spend £43K though, apparently this was the last one built for the UK.
