I have a 2006 Z4M roadster and neither of my key fobs will activate or deactivate the central locking/alarm. I have had an auto electrician and an alarm guy to the car, the problem apparently is not with the fob(s) but with the sensor in the mirror. I do want to go to the local BMW unless I really have to, can anyone advise? Is it possible to repair/replace the sensor inside the mirror or even get another mirror from some parts outfit?
