Here's a pic of 2 very worn splash guards and a new one - I'd already fitted the other new one before I realised I should take a side-by-side pic!

Re: Picture wanted...
What do those do? Is it M specific?
Don't recall seeing that on my 2.8.

Hi Dino D
These are an aerodynamic aid to push air past the rear tyres to reduce drag
They are not M specific, I have seen them fitted on a Z3 2.2
I've ordered some from my local BMW dealer, if you would like the part numbers (not sure if you still have your 2.8) just let me know

Hi,
How much are they.
Anyone can comment if they actually do anything? By the sounds of it only works at high speed. Wonder if it does anything to aid stability?
In any case it sounds very cool, so should extra BHP like my recently acquired magnetic stone guards, I can swear my car feels more 911 like with those stuck on!!

Re: Picture wanted...
These appear to get damaged very easily, both of mine are ruined.

Re: Picture wanted...
mine lasted 16 years...till they met me
i thought the purpose was to move standing water out of the way at speed with the high pressure wave they create in front of them

Re: Picture wanted...
It's cheap enough for a punt I guess.
Can anyone comment on actually feeling a difference,
If it actual moves water from in front of the rear wheels it's no bad thing but still skeptical it actually does anything.
The front wheels would clear water before these got a chance though...?
