Sea freight will likely be reasonable - it's the import duties that'll be harsh ??

The problem we have here is import taxes - around 100% - This means I would pay double the price plus shipping. Simply not worth the expense. Possibly the only viable way to import it would be as 2nd hand auto parts which carry only a 25% tax. Still expensive when adding in shipping. A simpler solution here would be to import all the M parts (mechanical and interior) and use a pre-facelift Z3 as the base to fit the parts to. At least that way some of the costs can be recovered by selling off the bits which have been replaced. Obviously this would exclude "originality" as an end result... :shrug
