Dumb I know but where is the dip-stick on the 2.0?

Post by phb10186 »

I have a Z3 2.8 and the red dip-stick sticks out like a sore thumb... my neighbour over the road has a Z4 2.0 2006 I think... but...

Where the hell is the damn oil dip-stick, I have looked for a while but I can't see it anywhere! User manual can't be found?

Thanks all.

Quite possibly it doesn't have one - my dad's 3er of the same year doesn't. You check it on the screen in the instrument cluster. Not sure what you press though.

Cheers R.

The Z4 2.0 does not have a dipstick - when we collected ours the salesmen spent 10 mins looking whilst I :rtm:

Robert T is correct as it is checked from the instrument cluster - there is a 2nd button next to the trip reset button - check with the engine running! Sometimes press it just to amuse myself when on a long motorway run
