tyre pressure sensor

Post by kirkstubbs1 »

hi peeps. First post. I have a 2004 Z4 Roadster. My tyre pressure warning light has illuminated on my cluster. Unfortunatly I cant find the manual. I was told once I checked the pressures and made the relevant pressure change it would automatically switch itself off. Mine didnt. Any ideas?

if its anything like my bmw mini, you have to reset the warning light through the OBC.

bloody pain !

Mini TPS doesnt even measure the tyre pressure, it measures the rolling radius of the tyre and compares them !!!
Still modifying

Hi,

You need to tell it to reset....

Press and hold the button for a few seconds (5 or so) then it will re-check and should go off.

Hope this works.
