Z3 to Z4

Post by RobGoldsmith »

Guys

My Z3 has broken and I might be going to the world of Z4!

Is there anything I should look out for when i test drive tomorrow?

Also is it ok to drive it around Devon in the winter?

Is it ok kept outside?

should I get a cover for it?

Thanks

Hope to join you all soon!

Not aware of any major specific flaws with 4's, but usual checks should be ok to see everything working. Have fun shopping.

When I lived in Scotland I was lucky to own a z4, I used it as a daily driver summer and winter and i never had any problems either with leaks or with stability / traction (unless I wanted it!)

I have a great pic of it covered in snow outside my house - I just treated it same as any other car and it was fine

It's easier to live with than the Z3 when driving with the roof up, better visibility, better driving position, and of course a proper glass rear window.

What you would expect really from and next generation car from the z3
