Fitted the facelift indicators today which replace the old white lensed indicators, quite chuffed with them :)

Can you show a before picture, so those of us who took no interest in your car in the past have an idea what has changed.......

PS... It's only cos I'm dead jealous Tim..... :D

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Easy to fit although I managed to break a clip on one of the old lenses  but they just pop out.

Have to say I am glad you posted up a before shot as well, as even though I've driven the new Z4, I didn't actually pay much attention to the indicators. The new ones look much better - afraid the old ones are bit cheap looking for a BMW - plus it gives a bit more back to the gills as well, which is a feature I like about the zeds.

Thanks Robert, agree the prefacelift lenses do look a bit cheap, I'm a little surprised the length BMW must have gone to accommodate the new style indicators as they come with a plastic tab at the end of the fins that slots into the bodywork. I'm guessing this is to ensure they sit in the correct position. This means BMW must have had to retool to produce the modified wings. I had to break the tabs off as mine doesn't have these slots. A bit pricey at £100 the pair

Those are far more in keeping with the look of the car, and is harking back to the Z3 side gills.
One thing I believed was a mistake on the previous Z4, was omitting any form of side gills

Cheers Pete, seems strange BMW didn't do this from the start, but when I contacted Cooper BMW to order the parts they said they won't fit the prefacelift E89, I said they will but just need modifying, the parts guy then admitted they had received quite a few orders for them, nice little earner for BMW

Nice little mod, turns a somewhat bland side repeater in to feature. It does remind me of something I have seen before.
