My new Zed :o)
My new Zed :o)
Hi Everyone
Well, i eventually found what i was looking for just before Silverstone and as we were parked adjacent to the Z4's had a really good look around them.
I wanted the midnight blue and after checking it out there, decided that was the colour i wanted so once back home I arranged to go and see the one i had found, 200 miles away up in Edinburgh.
So here are a few photos, picked him up 2 days ago, and had a great drive home. He is a 2.0ltr, 2006, 35,000 miles in midnight blue, black leather interior. Not quite as clean as when i set off, had to remove the wildlife off the front when i got home. What a way to test a car, the roads were great, A702 with stunning scenery when i dare glance at it
I now have a great little Z3 to sell though.

Re: My new Zed :o)
lovely car Gill, nothing better than a long trip home to get to know your car.
Re: My new Zed :o)
I really enjoyed the drive home - i felt real comfortable with him - early start on the train to Edinburgh, a right turn within 100 yds of leaving the garage and straight road to Kendal then a right to go home - i like those kinda directions- i had a complete mixture of A roads and M6 - I enjoyed my little adventure going for him and getting him home, hubby was working so couldnt come with me.
Liam I am surprised you asked - just a small mod, im sure you can guess what!

Looks very smart, Gill. I can see why you wanted that colour. Look forward to seeing it in the metal soon.

Re: My new Zed :o)
Nothing much, just darkening the rears slightly to get rid of the red would be nice to put 17's on but alloys in great order and 4 brand new tyres so couldnt justify changing at the moment plus need to replenish some funds

Looks nice Gill, welcome to the 4 side.

You're getting a few Zeds under your belt
Gazza
