Matt chrome dash trim cleaning?

I seem to what looks like water marks on the matt chrome dash trim, what do people use to clean it?

If that's the centre console part where the clock, etc is then I'd try Autoglym 'Fastglass' with a soft microfibre cloth (or kitchen towel if you must). It's good at lifting grease type marks from fingers and other sticky marks, it shouldn't make water marks any worse and may well lift them too. Also you could try diluted white vinegar (or viacal type product) which will disolve hard water marks.
