LEATHER DYE FOR BMW

Post by Southernboy »

I found a seller on Amazon (UK) that advertises leather dye in 150ml bottles for BMW cars. He sells them at £21.50 a pop. He operates under the name LEATHERTECHNIK. One of the forum members has used his product previously (Tanin-rot) and claims it was an almost perfect match. Obviously age etc will have altered the original colour, so this will be an economic way of restoring the leather interior. The seller claims, one bottle will be sufficient for an entire interior...that would be applying 2 to 3 coats. He also provides detailed instructions on prepping the leather prior to applying the dye. All in all it seems that it would be a useful route for those DIY'ers who feel an interior spruce-up is on the cards.
