DETAILING TIP

Post by Southernboy »

Here's a quick detailing tip for those that have the chrome exhaust tips...to clean them on the inner side, and also to get the soot off the outer edge...a quick spray of oven cleaner, and 2 minutes later...clean shiny chrome. Gets the exhaust carbon off without the elbow grease and risk of scratching...an old scotch pad from the kitchen will make it a breeze.

These are mine but they are only 12 months old but the insides bug me, good tip but be careful with the stuff it's a bit nasty on your skin or if you breath vapours in. That was me trying to get an arty picture

There are various oven cleaners...use the one that says "COLD" oven...that way the fumes aren't an issue....
