I know........... have been hassling them to get the reviver in red.
Maybe if they get more requests....................
The reviver works as a charm. Used the black one on Yvonne's beige top, is now a nice black top. (took 5 layers though)

Renovo works well, it will remove the smaller scratches but a previous owner must have put mine through the car wash every week, some larger scratches remain.

The other thing is it will move dirt you didn't know was there, much improved. Only cost a fiver for the tube - enough for 3-4 applications.

Have heard this mentioned before. Sounds a bit drastic but apparently it does work.

The BMW stuff is really good as Jay mentioned.
It seems to make the scratches disappear.
I think maybe it acts like microscopic filler.

Always used the BMW paste with excellent and long lasting results  just make sure it doesn't touch any other interior black surfaces, takes ages to get it off

I tried some of the other household products mentioned above prior to joining the forum, but the results didn't last as long as what the BMW paste did, which is one of the things that made it worthwhile.

Hi all. I have seen problems occur when an owner not satisfied with a product goes ahead and trys a different product over the top that is obviously not compatable. You should cut off the previous before using something else.
I have tried all and now use a ceramic cooktop cleaner to remove the fine scratches and gunge. This is a super fine sharp abrasive that is water based not solvent based. Please do not use brasso that one owner mentions. I am on the understanding the ammonia base will eventually etch into and destroy the plastic.
These hints were picked up from a reputable plastics chemist.

I have had a tube of the BMW Cabrio paste stuff for a few years now. At the time i thought it was expensive, but its like magic. And, its lasted about 4 years so far. As Gary said, make sure you dont get it on anything black (like the zip around the window), very hard to get off.

Has anyone tried hindsight? I know it's really expensive in comparison to the others, but was thinking it might work out the same in the long run. The only difference I can see between all the others and hindsight is it makes the plastic more supple, avoiding split screens.
Anyone???????? :?

Hi
I just checked there web site

and cheaper than a new rear window fitted

i would also be interested if anybody has used hindsight

Boysie, I've bit the bullet and ordered the Hindsight! I'll let you know how I go on with it, just hope it's as good as they say it is.

the renovo stuff did not get rid of the crease but it did clear the discolouration on the crease
