Not quite enough!
Fancy going to all that pimping trouble then leaving a 3-way 12v splitter on top of the dash.....

I've seen that creation (I'm being polite today ) somewhere before - think it changed hands fairly recently, so I guess the new owner didn't fall in love with it either - poor zed - what did it do to deserve being ram-raided into halfords covered in superglue?

When I first opened the link and saw the initial picture i thought "it's not too bad, those bits will come off and leave a nice car underneath", but after that, each picture it just got worse and worse. The more you spend time looking at it, the worse it gets.

If the eBay listing has finished, does that mean someone has bought it??? Surely there can't be two people with such little taste??? :? :?

It didnt meet his reserve.

Im suprised that it got as high as £4200

I know we all have different taste, but I dont think any members can pick out any features of the car that look good. Even the mods that should look good or ok (front splitter) look horrible, due to the stick on/screw on pieces which surround them.

Oh yes there can - most of them are called Barry (sorry, BAZ2780, I don't mean you )!

Found it here, where it was mercilessly torn to shreds:

My God!!!!! I went the Barryboys Home page and I find it hard to believe what some people do to their cars. I must confess that this is a new website to me and I hadn't realised how many total cocks sacrifice perfectly good (?) cars.

Be warned, some of these are really not pretty!!!

Gypsycatcha is absolutely right.
If it had had chrome washer jets it would have sailed through its reserve. Some people just don't finish the job do they?

Its back on and surprisingly the reserve has not been met. Might email the seller, see what the reserve is. I really am tempted by this. I bet there are loads of extras too. Chromed m badged water bottle, chromed m badged break bulbs, chromed m badged hand brake cable, chromed m badged seatbelt. I bet the seller is chrome m badged too.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

And a remarkably rusty screw, holding the chrome wheel arch on, in the same photo.

What does everyone think is the worst part of the car? If you can keep it to only one bit.

Mine would have to be the rear end photo.

Someone really should. Knowing me it would be de-modded and then re-modded.
Unsticking all the sticky bits would be a start, but it would take forever to fill all the holes where everything is screwed on with what are more than likely wood screws.

I really wish he had joined this forum and participated in the debate about rear spoilers, since he opted for something really subtle.

The car is currently sitting at £4200 and the reserve has still not been met.

If we all chipped in some cash, we could save this car.

Surely not to many people on the look out for a Z3 of this standard, and I cant think anybody interested in returning it to standard would pay the money he is looking for, only to have to pay a body shop the same again to repair the damage done.

for me it has to be the metal plate behind the front wheel.. How.. HOW does he think a stone will manage to hit there unless he is in reverse is beyond me. At least you can argue the rear pieces, the monsterous "custom made" exhaust shield serve some semblance of a purpose.

Does anyone think he may have borrowed the money to do this and is one of the "Sub-prime" elite that have caused all of the problems.. Maybe just looking for another way to hate him for what he has done ! :head:

Iv just got this image of setting the poor zed on fire finally ending the years of torture and abuse only to find when walking away, the chrome has turned to liquid and as i look over my right shoulder, the zed has re-formed, fired up the cherry bomb and chased me like a thief in the night

It was probably brought by somebody who liked it and will enjoy driving it and take no notice of peoples bigoted views. It's not my "cup of tea" but then I think chrome side gills and aluminium pedals are crap
