New Toy

Post by M0AFJ »

My new toy, went upmarket from an MX5!, what a car and what a noise the straight 6 makes!

Its a 2002, 2.2, done 24K miles, cost a bit more than I wanted to pay but well worth it!!!

Awesome Z3 mate, am I right in assuming it's an individual, seeing as it's estoril?

According to the paperwork, it was a special order colour, just given in a good cleaning and polishing with Megulars, looks great now!

Hi, no I had a MK1, 1.8. Its really chalk and cheese, the MX5 had so much scuttle shake, it was fun and raw though. The Z3 feels like its built out of a solid block, what it will be like when its done a few more miles, well we'll see, 24K's only just run in :)
Look forward to going on a few runs and meeting up with some people on here..

Congratualtions with Z3- good choice & good to see another 2.2 owner.

Interesting to see comparision opinion to MX-5. We too prior had one - a MK1 SE(2). Great car albeit not devoid of shake and a bit vague around centre of the PAS too.

Z3 ot beyong fault but underrateed IMO.

Pro-alignment made a huge difference for me.

Hi AW8, where did you get your alignment done?, do they do it at WIM?
