Think it is a bit pricey, Only my opinion. I paid 8k for 2001 3.0 sport with additional extras and 43k on the clock. That was dealers price not private.
Like i said though it is only my opinion, hope you dont mind me saying.

What he said - £7.5k max (with the scratches fixed)
I paid, after haggling down from £9500, £8600 for my 52 plate 2.2i Sport with 30k miles last September from a dealer. It had just been Inspection 2 Serviced as well. Your car is beautiful, there's no doubt, but I must agree with the others on the price. Sorry...
Looks a nice Zed and a low mileage example is worth a little extra in my book, but I would say is 2.5 to 3k overpriced. I'm pretty sure its not a sport model, as it looks to have standard seats and its sitting too high to have the m-tec suspension, having said that good luck with the sale

i agree its perhaps not the sport model with those seats wheels etc.paid £6500 for my 51 plate 2.2 sport last year with full bmw service history and no scratches.had 46000 on the clock.nice car though.good colour inside/out so you may get £6000 - £6500 for it.good luck
Thanks guys for the feedback, I only just thought to check back to see if anyone posted! I had a few enquiries by phone, all interested but made the same points you have about price. I'm going to take all that on board and price at £7,500.
No sports seats, sport 17 inch wheels, clear third brake light, Mtech suspension etc......
Nice looking car though, low mileage 2.2 sports havebeen going for less than £7k private (I know my borther just bought a mint 40k miler for well less than £7k).
Non sport in that condition I would say £6k ?
But as always others who do not know difference with the sport model may well pay sport money for it given its aparent good condition.
I would remove the "sport" from the advert though so as not to "mislead" anyone
