Jon,

You really need to buy the inserts for your wheels, it'd be great to have the variety of split/solid spokes! They appear to be just £200 for the full set too so not a bad price 8-)

I have thought about them and missed a set on american eBay which sold just above my max bid (I had to factor in taxes and duty).

but..... I've seen some type III with them fitted and then removed. They badly scratch the paintwork so my worry is you cannot just fit and remove as you like as the retaining springs will scratch :head:

If I see a set cheap I'll no doubt pick them up..... also ........I have a set of Type II's with deep dish ET9 rears on the way :D

That's great, many thanks for the links.

Just in case it might be of use to someone else, i found the German market prices & accessory list here:

http://www.z3-roadster-forum.de/phpBB2/ftopic4501.html (post-99 facelift)
http://www.z3-roadster-forum.de/phpBB2/ftopic5015.html (post-00 facelift)

It was intriguing to see that German cars ordered with M suspension option also included a limited slip diff as part of that package and that the LSD was also a standard item on 2.8 and M models (including coupe).

So i guess this means my car definitely has a limited slip diff on it :D well chuffed now...
