Thinking of new wheels. opinions please

Postby billz » Sun 28 Nov, 2010 19:43

Am thinking of getting some new 18" dotz alloys offset of 35. What are your opinions.

Sorry wrong forum. Is it possible for a mod to move it to the Z3 forum.

thanks

I prefer the Mugello to the Tupac. I think you'd get away with the Tupac wheel if you had larger brake discs otherwise I think they look a bit lost behind the thin spokes.

I have been looking at some new wheels for the zed and have decided to go back to silver. These are the wheels i am looking at Inovit DTM the fitments will be 255/35/18 9" rims offset 37 rears and 225/40/18 8" rims offset 42 fronts. Running on Continental sport 3s. Would be nice to see what folk think.

Hi i have these wheels and wouldn't recommend them as there a pain in the ass to clean and i've had mine a year and the laquer over the black centre has started to flake off. Cheers Daz

Theyre a nice looking alloy and suit the Zed as similar to OE Style 78s.

Don't know what the quality of these are like but if going for polished rim then I think Stainless steel would be best otherwise one salty winter and they will look :(

As said fiddly to clean but you soon get used to it

Tim.
