Finally we have our Z3. The saga is over  See the old thread for that.. http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24763

Here she is, all white, 2.2i, LHD. To get through the SVA we had to replace a broken mirror, so we had it done with M mirrors and very nice they are too :)

For the SVA, the speedometer had the dialface changed to MPH.. it's quite nasty in white so that will be changed back pdq.

I have seen a couple of white Zeds so far, and it's a colour which really suits the car. Bit weird seeing square number plates!

Nice one, bet your chuffed now the aggravation is over!

Very nice OXO, it looks good in white, but it would, as that is a lighter shade of silver.
I have to admit that I quite like the white speedometer on this car.
What happened to, or had been stuck to, the dash on the left below the steering wheel?

I can appreciate that this must have been an expensive exercise, but my priority would have been to put some windows in the house. :)

Have fun. :thumb:

Lovely car and well worth the wait, looks great in white.
What happened to, or had been stuck to, the dash on the left below the steering wheel?
My guess is the card reader for the Japanese toll roads.

Lovely Zed OXO :thumb:
White looks well although I'm wondering how black side gills and mirrors would look :?:

I never noticed the gunk under the steering wheel until I looked at the pics.. I'll clean it off for you and take new pics when the sun comes out again.

And..

That's not the house my dutch friend :(

Thanks to all for the nice comments :D

Having such a great white paint, taking off the amber covers from the headlight indicators is an absolute must.

Glad to hear you got the car in the end!!

The white dials are keepers!
IMO the amber lenses should be changed for white/clear ones - and the 3rd brakelight as well!

And with time maybe some 17" wheels - BMW Styling 42...

But it looks really sweet - seen a few white ones and the colour is :thumb:

Enjoy, and wash it regularly and it wiil always look like a beauty :D

Love it OXO,

Glad to see those wing mirrors went to a good home!

I love the white Z3s

I offered on a 2.8 in white with red and black interior before I bought my coupe. They look so good.

Well done mate

Thanks all :)

I put it to bed tonight with a dust sheet over the hood... it lives in a barn where birds and bats etc can fly over the top and drop their poop :(

Need to find the right cover for it, cos I don't think a cotton sheet will do much good ;)

...and the white fraternity continues its growth by stealth 8-)

Looks really good and I've thought about the white dials as I think they look great as well as different...the black gills do look good IMHO as I have on our Coupe:

and the clear indicators also go well as on our M:
