Welcome, looks like a nice one you found for yourself and with the added benefit of a hard top.

Nice to see another 2.0 in the fold, there's more on here now than when it was a current model and a founder member of this site owned one
Hope for some nice weather and get the roof down
enjoy.

Thanks all. Unfortunately I have been too busy driving it today to take any photos
Will get some in the week though. Couple of intial niggles though, at 80mpg the front end begins to feel very light. Also at 40mph there is a slight wobble through the steering wheel. Lastly, the airbag light has come on, I have been told this is likely the connectors for the seatbelt pretensioners?

Unfortunately got to start with fixing it...
Got wheel wobble at 40mph, checked balancing, still got to check for sticky calipers. Got ABS, ACS and airbag light on. Got few cosmetic bits to do to
Oh and a dead shock absorber.
Not looking quite as good a buy now

Thanks guys, think the colour is steel grey
Not too worried about being difficult to work on just how hard it is to identify faults

Good news! ABS & ASC lights cured themselves! Feeling a bit happier with it today, now just to sort the other issues, and find someone with an airbag light reset tool to avoid the BMW diagnostics fee...

Mine does that. Comes and goes, was on yesterday for a while but gone off again. Hadn't seen it for about 4 weeks before that

I just ordered one for £39.50 which a few people on here have used. Much cheaper than BMW charges.

Cheers for the link. Shame they dont sell one unit that does Airbag and service lights, wold be on it straight away then, however I dont think I'll need the airbag one again after using it as I am pretty sure I knw whats causing the fault and will fix it first.
Decisions decisions...
