The problem with the Weissman hardtop is that it's not too dissimilar from the OEM one. I'd only be willing to pay out for one if it came with the leather headlining as opposed to the velour.

I thought the wiesmann hard top was longer at the back with a more rakish angle than the BMW OEM one as well as having a bigger rear window?

I'm sorely tempted as the black top would look great on my white M...

Jonnt you mention that the fitting kit is different to the OEM fitting kit...how easy/hard is it to replace one with the other?

Richard, I'm not sure but I would think its a DIY job so long as all the aprts are there. I would think "fine tuning" the fit would take the longest time ?

Hi Richard, sadly, Wiesmann do not have a sales out let in the UK, but they do in Holland.
I would suggest that you contact these guys (or Wiesmann Germany) and see if they will help you out with your questions.

Lets be honest guys, its all about the hamann hardtop II which I'm guessing i'm not the only one searching for one for several years now..

The day one comes up on ebay I reckon will end in a bidding frenzy!!
