I was thinking of the collective name we have for our cats - which is the Megamogs, so being their mum I just went for Megamog.

Mine comes from when I was much younger - I overheard some older boys calling each other pillocks at school and obviously misheard them, as I then asked everybody what a peelark was!
I was called peelark for long enough to decide it was an appropriate forum username - I use it all the time still

What a great question !

When I was a kid we, courteousy of my old mans fascination with birds, had a toucan that sat on a perch in the living room and every now it frightened the s**t out of me by letting out an almighty sqwak.

The toucan,s name was BarneyBoko.

later in life i researched the name to find out, that it was a comic book character in one of DC Thomsons publications, who are to this day still publishing in my home town of Dundee. (beano, dandy etc, etc)

Thus BarneyBoko

PS, sold the ZED, bought a JAG XK8, but still love this forum.
