2002 2.2 sport or not?

Post by Toggit »

Hi all,

I recently bought a 2002 2.2i Titanium Silver Z3 and from what I've seen there were two variants, Sport and non sport. How can I tell which is which?

What did I buy!?

Pics are here... http://www.skweek.co.uk/Skweek/Photos.html#3

Thanks!

Looks like the sport to me. You have the sport seats and the chrome centre consile.

Were those wheels not part of the sport package as well?

Oh, and in case you didn't already know, you have a hardtop fitting kit on your car. :P

Cheers R.

Definitely a sport model, has clear lighting all round including the 3rd brakelight and also the bumper has a mesh grill and not the slat version :D

Very nice example you have there. If you decide to get a hardtop then make sure you get the correct colour yours being Titan and not the older silver Arctic like I have. Arctic is slightly darker and is immediatly obvious when you put the two together.

Hope you enjoy your zed as much as the rest of us. :D

It is a great example of a Z3, it's suberb condition was enough for me to swap (with a few £'s) my 06 MINI Park Lane for it!
