A little disconcerting that everything is delivered via Diesel

ergo price hikes to cover the cost :head:

I was always led to believe that refining of diesel was a cheaper process, hence its lower price. Looks like Scania backed the wrong horse and should have developed a Hemmy :idea:

The cost to process order is parafin/kerosene, then diesel, then petrol.

The total cost is all about duty and tax rates.

Road fuel - 56p duty + 20% VAT
Vegetable Oil - No duty + No VAT

. The downside is that I'm only allowed 2500 lires per year and it turns to gel at approx 5 deg C

.

Even if Shell gave the fuel away it would still cost approx 70p per litre :shock:
