New Michelin tyres ;o)

Post by Ferdinand »

I've been looking on several websites for et set of 17" tyres for my BMW Styling 78 rims for quite some time now and yesterday I was lucky :D

I picked up four 225 45 R17 91W Michelin Primacy HP from 2011 - Seller had bought a new KIA Ceed and had the tyres removed a few monthe later so he could have snowtyres on the original rims - 2 of them are like new and approximately 1 mm worn of on the other 2 tyres. Paid 220 pounds.

Tomorrow I'm going to pick up 2 almost new 245 40 R17 91W Michelin Primacy HP from 2011 tyres from a Mercedes SLK for 186 pounds...

Having them fitted costs 44 pounds....

Total cost 450 pounds - for 6 tyres seems like a fair deal to me :D

I was at the Michelin Museum earlier this week - which was excellent.
Worth a stop if anyone is ever traveling to the Alps or the Rivera.

:bawl: Been travelling in France for many years - did'nt know they had a museum in Clermont Ferrand - a new destination added to the "I have to see this" list.

Picked up the two 245 40 R17 91W tyres today - they are like brand new... :D
