Zedfest - thanks to John Safe
Zedfest - thanks to John Safe
I dont know if you all realised that the mastermind behind todays Zedfest was John Safe (ZZZEMMCO) who has spent 6 months or more arranging the event down to the last detail.
What a fantastic success with around 300 Zs together and then all of us lined up on the starting grid at the end of the parade lap. I'm sure pictures will be posted.
But a huge thanks to John for all his efforts.

Yep, another vote of thanks for John Safe from me too. This event wouldn't have happened without his hard work and dedication and he richly deserves all the plaudits that he'll surely receive in due course. Thanks John!

I've had plenty of fabulous memories in my years of zed ownership and made so many close friends too but this event has to rank as the best event of them all and I got to share it with all my friends too, it was perfect! Thank you John and Ian for such a fabulous day, you should feel extremely proud of yourselves!

Re: Zedfest - thanks to John Safe
A great day out indeed..!
Spending time with great friends, enjoying all the cars, and the weather couldn't have been better.
The 'parade' lap was awesome...
SO MANY ZEDS in one place was such a special moment to remember.
Apart from the Spartenburg Homecomings and a few meets in Switzerland in the mid-naughties, I don't think there has ever been such a big gathering of our favourite cars, and there probably never will be again.
The huge numbers were especially remarkable considering almost all the cars were UK based. With a couple of commendable exceptions, the Euro ZED contingent were sadly conspicuous by their absence.
Thanks to all the organisers at BMWCC and ZR.net who worked so hard to bring it all together.
Cheers!
Alfie, Diane and RED.
ps: I counted just eight S54 Z3 ///MRs. Am I right?

A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it a weekend to remember, we'll be talking about it for years to come, brilliant!!
Re: Zedfest - thanks to John Safe
Have to agree with everyone else. What a day to remember.
Seeing all those Zed's in one place was magic and spending the day with very good friends, with excellent weather made it all the better.
Thanks to all those who were involved in organising such a special day.
Can't wait till the next one.

Re: Zedfest - thanks to John Safe
Glad the day went off so well for all in attendance. Congratulations to everyone involved - ESPECIALLY those charged with the organisation.
I have enjoyed looking at all the photos with HUGE grins. I unfortunately was driving down through England en route to France a day too early otherwise Hamish would have been there.
Maybe next time...
